Welcome! I am glad you’re here.
I am a wife, mother, and counselor living in St. Louis. It is my joy and privilege to walk alongside my clients, creating a warm and safe space to explore the unique story of who they are, where they’ve been, and where they are going.
Using a collaborative and integrative approach, I work with adult women who are navigating life transitions, exploring their family of origin and attachment, and those who struggle with shame and perfectionism. I also have specific interests in broken relationships and loss, spirituality, motherhood and identity, as well as anxiety and depression.
My worldview and the underpinnings of my counseling philosophy center on my faith as a Christian. I believe that relationship and story are key elements of who we are and how we relate (to God, to ourselves, and to others). Even if faith if not explicitly integrated into our work together, these concepts shape the way I counsel: how I ask questions and seek to know you.
I also integrate neuropsychology into my practice; the science of how our nervous system relates to our feelings, behavior, and experiences. By growing in awareness of how our body feels and responds in certain situations, we can move toward understanding and growth, with self compassion as our guide.
I offer services (see below) to help you navigate challenges and move through the places where you feel stuck. Together we can get curious about who you are and why you do what you do. I look forward to joining you on the journey!
